BCH is proud to partner with organizations that bring people together and make a lasting impact on their communities. That’s why we’re excited to celebrate a historic achievement with our client, the Louisville Zoo. The Zoo welcomed a record-breaking 945,225 guests during this past fiscal year, solidifying its place as a top regional destination.

BCH supported advertising and public relations efforts throughout this record year, as the Zoo expanded its amazing animal family with the births of three new tiger cubs, a giraffe and a colobus monkey, while also adding new gorillas and orangutans to its special lineup of animal stars. Events such as Wild Lights, Boo at the Zoo and Dinopalooza drew crowds in, while the Zoo also expanded accessibility with the introduction of the Community Access Pass and the free Morning Walking club – opening doors to even more residents and visitors, creating opportunities for people of all ages across the region to connect with animals and nature.

This marks the highest attendance in the Zoo’s 57-year history, breaking the previous attendance record set in 2012 – highlighted by the arrival of polar bears and the opening of the award-winning Glacier Run exhibit. Notably, BCH developed branding and marketing for Zoo then, as well.

Here’s to the Louisville Zoo and its continued impact as a destination where education, conservation and family fun come together.
