Forecastle is a well-established festival that draws artists and attendees from all over the world. However, in an increasingly saturated festival market, maintaining momentum year over year takes lots of planning, and promotional efforts for the following year begin soon after the curtain falls on the current year’s event.
We do a lot of groundwork throughout the offseason to keep Forecastle top of mind and ensure that when festival weekend arrives, everyone is ready to rock.
When it comes to attracting ticket buyers, we work with festival organizers to cast a wide net. This includes implementing a number of different kinds of market activations that energize a diverse group of fans. We strategically cultivate story angles to create advance media opportunities including lineup announcements and features on festival-related topics like visual art components and aspects of its sustainability and environmental philanthropy.
As the event itself ramps up, we help on-site media management of the more than 350 regional, national and international news media covering the festival. During the three-day event, we stage multiple news conferences, arrange dozens of interviews, field hundreds of media inquiries and manage crisis communications if necessary.
