Position Overview:

We are seeking a Social Media Producer to join our creative team. This entry- to mid-level role combines creative instincts with strong organizational skills, with two primary responsibilities: producing paid social content and managing influencer and creator partnerships.

The ideal candidate understands what makes people stop scrolling and enjoys both developing ideas and managing the details that bring them to life.

Responsibilities:

Paid Social Content Development & Production

  • Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, creative directors and video producers to concept and create paid social content across static, carousel and video formats.
  • Help translate campaign strategies into platform-appropriate creative, applying social best practices for hooks, pacing, calls-to-action, formats and specifications.
  • Coordinate social content production from pre-production through post-production, including schedules, shot lists, assets, revisions and final deliverables.
  • Stay current on emerging social formats, trends and platform features, and bring relevant opportunities to the creative team.
  • When appropriate, serve as on-screen talent for agency- or client-produced social content.

Influencer & Creator Management

  • Work with the Creative Director to develop influencer strategies, identify creator roles and recommend talent aligned with campaign objectives, audiences and KPIs.
  • Research, vet and recommend creators based on brand fit, content quality, audience alignment, performance and brand safety.
  • Manage creator partnerships from outreach through completion, including negotiation, briefs, contracts, deliverables, approvals, billing and usage rights.
  • Review creator content, provide constructive feedback and ensure final work meets the brief, brand standards and platform requirements.
  • Track creator performance and organize campaign results, insights and learnings for client reporting.

Client Communication & Collaboration

  • Present influencer recommendations, creative approaches and campaign rationale to clients in clear, understandable language.
  • Communicate project status, changes, risks and dependencies while helping establish realistic expectations around budgets, timelines and platform requirements.
  • Collaborate across Creative, Brand Management, Project Management and other agency teams to keep projects moving efficiently and meet deadlines.

Organic Social Support

  • Serve as a cross-trained backup to the Social Media Specialist for publishing, community management and reporting as needed.
  • Assist with scheduling content, maintaining publishing calendars, adapting social copy and monitoring audience activity.
  • Support social listening, analytics gathering and performance reporting and presenting social wrap reports to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience in Social Media, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Production or a related field; approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube, with curiosity about social culture, emerging creators, trends and platform changes.
  • Understanding of creator culture and what makes a brand/creator partnership authentic and relevant to its audience.
  • Good creative instincts, an ability to contribute to concepts and confidence giving constructive feedback to creators.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills; comfortable presenting to clients, negotiating with creators and collaborating across agency teams.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, deliverables and deadlines in an agency environment.
  • Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools such as Sprout Social.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, CapCut or similar tools, and basic photography, videography or editing skills, are a plus.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera when a concept calls for it.
  • Genuinely good human that people enjoy working with.
